As always, the Summer Workshop Program offers exceptional writing and visual arts classes with world-renowned faculty. This year, there are a few exciting changes waiting for you, including improved facilities and new community partnerships.

Each week begins on Sunday with a welcome reception and orientation, which includes an introductory meeting with workshop faculty. Workshops meet Monday through Friday. Your day begins with a continental breakfast. Students have 24-hour access to studios and classrooms, print shop, student lounge, digital media lab, and computer lab.

We host evening readings and artist talks by our faculty, offering students an opportunity to learn from and interact with faculty in a casual setting. We also have a student night with readings providing students an opportunity to share their work, and an open studios for visual artists to show what they have been working on.

All of the week’s events are designed to create a community where students, faculty, and staff come together to share in the joy of creative practice.

This year, we are collaborating with East End Books to offer you a comprehensive selection of faculty titles in our newly relocated bookstore. We are also pleased to partner with Cosmos Catering and Relish Bakery & Sandwich Shops to bring some of the best of Provincetown’s local food to you.
