About the Offering
Sundays, on May 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th at 5pm to 7pm (Eastern)
Trash Art is a hands-on studio course that challenges students to reimagine found materials and discarded objects as rich sources of creative potential. Through sculpture, assemblage, collage, and installation, we’ll explore how trash can be transformed into visually compelling, conceptually layered artworks.
Critique and conversation will center on growth, not results, creating a supportive space to take risks and explore new directions. Ideal for artists looking to reinvigorate their practice, embrace experimentation, and discover unexpected connections across media.
We’ll emphasize play, process, and personal exploration—encouraging each student to push boundaries and develop their own unique creative voice.
