About the Offering
Bring us your tired, your unfinished, your good-but-not-great. If now is the time for intensive feedback on poems you’ve been working on for a while, join us for a week-long intensive of examining each other’s poems. Each participant will offer a packet of five poems to the group. We’ll all offer detailed comments, then create assignments midweek to push the poems further into the final form they hope to find.

About the Instructor/Moderator
Elizabeth Bradfield designs most of the work published by Broadsided Press. She launched the journal in 2005 and continues to be fascinated by how poetry and art, together, can amplify each other and reach new audiences. Author of five collections of poetry, she has co-edited Broadsided Press: Fifteen Years of Poetic/Artistic Collaboration, 2005-2020 and Cascadia Field Guide: Art, Ecology, Poetry. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, Atlantic Monthly, Poetry, The Sun, and her honors include the Audre Lorde Prize and a Stegner Fellowship. Based on Cape Cod, Bradfield works as a naturalist and teaches at Brandeis University.

Their work is regularly exhibited internationally and is in the permanent collections of over 60 museums. Over the past fifteen years, they have built a sustainable career as a visual artist and have extensive experience working with museums, galleries, universities and nonprofit organizations, publishers, and press outlets. In addition to their own creative work, they are passionate about sharing the professional knowledge they’ve acquired throughout their career with other artists.
