About the Offering

March 2nd-6th from 12pm-2pm (Eastern)

In this online fiction writing workshop we will discuss the art and craft of fiction through reading stories together and sharing each other’s work. Prompts will be given for daily writing exercises. We will discuss best beginnings, how to write strong scenes, plot and tension, the muddle of the middle, and endings that work. Of course we will also discuss topics that arise during the week and any questions you have about writing in general and your fiction in particular. Our final workshop will be focused on commenting on and critiquing a piece of your fiction. You will leave the week with concrete tips, suggestions for writing fiction, and inspiration for your stories or novels.
