LIVE via ZOOM: 1pm-4pm (Eastern)
It has been said that atoms do not exist in time but rather show a “tendency” to exist. Much the same can be said of poetry. Brendan Constantine presents a special, generative workshop on the poet’s relationship(s) with Time. Participants will examine multiple perspectives and approaches to writing, resulting in new, dynamic poems. Daily themes will include lyric vs. narrative poetry, “strange” meter, and the poet as time traveler. Each session will feature group discussions, spontaneous writing, metaphor games, and a few surprises. Sufferers of “Writer’s Block” are strongly encouraged!
