About the Offering
Saturdays from 10am-12pm (Eastern) on Aug 23rd and 30th, Sept 6th and 13th.
Whether you are looking for big picture feedback or line edits, this welcoming and supportive workshop is a chance to get fresh eyes and perspectives on your work. Poems you’ve worked on or created during your FAWC Summer Program workshops are welcome, along with older or newer work. We will also try a number of small revision-based craft exercises. These can be completed using the poems you choose to workshop, or other work you would like to reimagine.
Each week, you will be asked to submit a poem ahead of time to get feedback from the group. To prepare for each meeting, you will read each other’s pieces along with a small selection of contemporary poems.
This workshop is for attendees of FAWC’s Summer Program but will open to the general public if there’s room.
