24PearlStreet Online Writing Workshops
Writers: do you know that even if you’re going on vacation, you can still work on your craft? 24PearlStreet Summer Session workshops are the ideal way to work on your stories, poems, and memoirs, no matter where you are!
Summer Session registration is now open for an amazing selection of online workshops. Click here to see the catalog. Our world-class faculty will be conducting 1, 4, and 8 week online asynchronous and synchronous workshops in fiction, poetry, memoir, essay, and YA novel writing. We have two Saturday Sprint workshops this Summer with Lidia Yuknavitch and Marcelo Hernandez Castillo. As well, we’re introducing our first Hybrid Sprint workshop with Jessica Jacobs who will teach a class live in the Fine Arts Work Center’s Stanley Kunitz Common Room that will be live-streamed for virtual students.
We’re grateful to work this year in collaboration with Cave Canem, as well as with Kundiman and the Institute of American Indian Arts, on teaching partnerships, scholarships, and other developing programs. Stay tuned for more information on these programs as the year progresses.
African-American writers are invited to apply for scholarships worth $600 each to attend any 24PearlStreet Summer 2022 workshop. These scholarships are co-sponsored by Cave Canem. Click here for more information.
We hope to see you this Summer. Take a look at the catalog to find the perfect workshop for you. And—happy writing.
